Job Title: Building Maintenance Man/Woman

Gulfian Resources Inc is seeking a reliable and skilled Building Maintenance Man/Woman to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our motel and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors and stairs
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances
  • Perform safety and security checks
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Dependability, flexibility, initiative, and reliability
Work Environment:

Our motel is located in a rural area, and the successful candidate will be required to work in all weather conditions. On-site housing options are available.
