Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at TANIA CORTES DIAZ. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Assist with regular exercise, such as walking, to promote physical well-being
  • Change non-sterile dressings and provide wound care
  • Feed or assist with feeding, ensuring a balanced diet
  • Launder clothing and household linens, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation
  • Provide companionship and emotional support, helping individuals feel connected and valued
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Shop for food and household supplies, ensuring a steady supply of essentials
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits
Requirements:
  • CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate
  • Experience in a similar role is an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, and lifting
