Key Responsibilities- Lead client engagements and develop tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
- Collaborate with Partners to deliver high-quality tax services and ensure client satisfaction.
- Manage and direct the work of junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct tax research and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Develop and implement tax planning initiatives to drive business growth and profitability.
- Provide ongoing support and mentoring to junior staff, promoting their professional development and growth.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in tax planning and compliance in a public accounting firm.
- Professional accounting designation or equivalent.
- Completed, or nearly completed, the CPA In-Depth Tax Course.
- Excellent people management and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
KPMG Canada offers a comprehensive and competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $97,500 to $151,000, plus bonus awards.
