About the Role

The Government of British Columbia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee complex projects that span multiple programs. As a key member of the Provincial Priorities Branch, you will utilize your expertise in project and change management to ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and deliverables
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
  • Provide coaching and guidance to project team members
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
Requirements
  • Master's degree in business administration, public administration, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in the social sector
  • Proven track record of leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Prosci Change Management Certification
  • Lean Certification
  • Experience working with Indigenous clients and partners in the social sector
  • Experience managing projects in the childcare and/or social sector
