Your Opportunity:
Description:
As a Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) I at Alberta Health Services, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality diagnostic images for physician review. Your responsibilities will include preparing and assessing patients for examination, interpreting physician requisitions, and assisting with the care and maintenance of equipment. You will work with a variety of procedures, including general and portable radiography, mobile and surgical suite examinations, and fluoroscopy as required.
Required Qualifications:
Completion of a diploma from an accredited Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Recent experience working in an acute care hospital in both CT and GR.
Preferred Qualifications:
Current IV Certification. CTIC or working toward.
