At North Eastern Trucking Inc., we are seeking a skilled Heavy Truck Servicing Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and repairing heavy trucks, including troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required.
  • Detect and diagnose issues with engine performance, transmission, brakes, and suspension systems.
  • Repair or replace defective parts and components as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed and keep track of inventory levels.
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance tasks on heavy trucks.
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field, or equivalent experience.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
