  • Prepare payables report (and analyze payments from external correspondents): Bi-weekly

- Make payments via CIBC or Visa

- Record payments in JE

- Save payment confirmation

- Send payment proofs to suppliers

  • Compile and record Visa expenses: Monthly
  • Compile and record expense accounts (associates and employees): Monthly
  • Prepare and record trust account transfers: As needed
  • Record month-end accounting entries: Monthly
  • Update cash flow tracking: Weekly (or as requested)
  • Respond to emails in the finance inbox: As needed
  • Assist with ad hoc requests
  • Support the Chief Accountant as needed

The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks. Experience in accounting, particularly in accounts payable, month-end closings, and financial reporting is essential. Strong communication skills in both languages are required, with a preference for bilingual candidates.
