Tax Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Analyst to join our team in Toronto. As a member of our software product development team, you will be responsible for supporting our client's office and working on a 6-month assignment. You will earn a competitive hourly rate of $27.58.
Key Responsibilities:- Process tax-related documentation for our organization.
- Interact with tax authorities to resolve tax discrepancies.
- Manage and audit inventories, communicating findings to management and interacting with other analysts, external auditors, and tax employees.
- Review company data to obtain the best tax benefits and create informative reports for executives.
- Ensure tax compliance and create financial reports.
- Implement tax-planning strategies and review submitted tax documents.
- Make recommendations for improving compliance processes and minimizing tax risks.
- Identify and evaluate tax costs and savings using company attributes and expenses.
- Calculate taxes owed and process and file tax returns.
- Analyze tax policies to ensure compliance with the law.
- Oversee preparation for and conduct audits.
- 3+ years of tax experience.
- Ability to learn tools such as Adobe and internal developed tools.
- Proficient with technology and software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Critical thinking, problem-solving, research skills, and determination.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
