About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Operating Room Booking Coordinator. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical scheduling process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule surgical procedures, ensuring timely and efficient use of operating room resources
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses, to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of surgical schedules, patient information, and other relevant data
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our surgical scheduling process
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers
Requirements
  • Grade 12 and three (3) years' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Ability to keyboard 45 wpm
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare operations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
