About the Role

Fountain Tire Sudbury (Commercial) is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious individual to fill the position of General Labourer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, balance, and rotate passenger, light truck, medium truck tires and wheels
  • Complete and maintain various safety courses, including Whimis, TIA, Rim Safety course, and Customer Experience Standards
  • Reset and repair tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
  • Ensure personal and coworker safety
  • Maintain tire service equipment on a regular basis
  • Perform specialty tire work, including studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
  • Assist with inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts

Working Conditions

  • Team environment with a focus on hard work, clear communication, and safety
  • Consistent lifting of weights up to 50KG
  • Unpredictable, physical, and potentially wet or cold working conditions
  • Nearly constant standing, crouching, or kneeling

Requirements

  • Previous experience is an asset, but not required; willingness to train motivated individuals with a good attitude
  • Valid G2 driver's license; G1 licenses will not be considered
  • Excellent customer service and a positive attitude
  • Team player who takes pride in their work
