Job Description

The Diversified Analog Solutions team in Ottawa is developing wireless integrated circuit components and has a challenging opportunity for a University Student available for a 12 month work term. The successful candidate will report to a senior engineering mentor assigned to them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the research and development of advanced RF integrated circuit and module in the area of wireless technology.
  • Conduct lab tests on RF circuits and present/interpret measurement data.
  • Assist in new product engineering and design activities.
  • Assist full time engineering group members with their project assignments.

Requirements

  • Candidate must be currently enrolled in an MS or PhD Electrical Engineering (or related) degree program.
  • Experience with RF lab equipment, including oscilloscope, signal generator, spectrum/signal analyzer, VNA, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of RF/analog circuits and principles.
  • Solid understanding of S-parameters and electromagnetics.

The typical pay range for an intern is currently CAD $25.00 - $44.00 per hour. Starting base pay will depend on level of education and the ultimate job duties and requirements.
