Job Description

We are seeking a Product Engineering Co-Op to join our team in Ottawa, Ontario, for a 12-month period starting in January 2025. As a Product Engineering Co-Op, you will be responsible for developing test solutions, sampling products during the development phase, and transitioning products from development to high-volume mass production.

Responsibilities
  • Develop automation scripts in Visual Basic, Python, Java, and Labview
  • Publish data reports
  • Manual testing of product Evaluation Boards using bench equipment
  • Assisting with general lab duties
Requirements
  • Pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS), Computer Science (BS), or related degree for the duration of the Co-Op
  • Enrolled in a college-level Electrical, Electronics, Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technician program or relevant program
  • Fundamental understanding of programming in Visual Basic, Python, Java, and Labview
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills
  • Hands-on experience testing product in a lab environment
  • Higher-level computer programming skills such as C/C++, Object-Oriented Programming, and understanding of Software Architecture
  • Experience in data analysis of large data sets
  • Knowledge of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth product specifications

The typical pay range for an intern is currently CAD $25.00 - $44.00 per hour. Starting base pay will depend on level of education and the ultimate job duties and requirements.
