About the Role:

  • You will prepare engineering design calculations for structural systems involving steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry elements, adhering to CSA Standards and applicable codes and regulatory requirements.
  • You will analyze structural systems and elements using analysis software programs, supporting engineers in preparing design documents and compiling engineering packages.
  • You will ensure compliance with QA procedures, producing high-quality work while delivering technical engineering deliverables/tasks within specified timelines and budgets.
  • As a structural engineer specialist, you will have the opportunity to work on various major projects for internal and external clients.

Requirements:

  • Civil Engineering degree from an accredited University with 4-7 years of industry design experience; Master's degree and above is an asset.
  • Licensed, or eligible to register as a Professional Engineer in Training, in a professional engineering organization recognized in Canada.
  • Sound knowledge of Civil/Structural Engineering principles and proficiency in analysis software commonly used in the field, such as ANSYS, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, SSASI, ETABS, SAFE, etc.
