Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Mixing Plant Technician to become part of our dynamic and fast-paced operations. As an Asphalt Mixing Plant Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and safe production of asphalt, ensuring that all operational processes meet industry standards and company expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fully trained in the operations and capability of running an Asphalt plant ideally Astec.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and deal effectively with people using a facilitative approach including scaling, ticketing and assisting in asphalt orders.
  • Required to understand general knowledge and intermediate computer skills.
  • Communicates and promotes safety, compliance, and environmental requirements in alignment with Company standards.
  • Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers by addressing issues, questions or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Continuously communicating with plant operators, truckers, quality control and dispatch.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
  • Adhere to all company safety and environmental practices and policies – training provided.
