Job Title: Director, Financial Reporting & Budgeting

Are you a seasoned financial leader looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic healthcare organization? We are seeking a highly skilled Director, Financial Reporting & Budgeting to join our Finance Leadership team at Northern Health Authority.

Job Summary:

The Director, Financial Reporting & Budgeting is responsible for leading the development, monitoring, and reporting of Northern Health's multi-year financial operating plans to ensure the organization's broad financial goals are achieved. As a key member of the Finance Leadership team, you will provide leadership within and around financial planning to facilitate the achievement of the mission, vision, and strategic priorities of Northern Health in accordance with the organization's values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, monitoring, and reporting of Northern Health's multi-year financial operating plans
  • Provide leadership within and around financial planning to facilitate the achievement of the mission, vision, and strategic priorities of Northern Health
  • Collaborate with the Executive team, senior leadership, physician leaders, and the Executive Director, Financial Planning & Budgeting on financial and operational issues
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions and strategic planning

Requirements:

  • Professional accounting designation (CPA) or a Master's Degree in a relevant discipline (MHA, Leadership, MBA)
  • Seven (7) or more years of relevant managerial or financial accounting experience within a large complex multi-site organization, preferably in a healthcare environment, and in positions with increasing leadership responsibility
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
