About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team at Boehmer Box LP. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in our industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
  • Repair and Troubleshooting: Replace or repair electrical components, test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
  • Training and Development: Instruct apprentices and conduct preventive maintenance programs.
  • Code Interpretation: Interpret electrical code specifications and read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Certifications: Industrial Electrician Trade Certification and Industrial Electrician Red Seal Certificate.
Work Environment

As an Industrial Electrician at Boehmer Box LP, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling. You will be required to work overtime and be physically demanding.
