Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate measurements and precise installation.
  • Material Handling: Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding, as well as prepare flooring plans and scheduling.
  • Installation: Measure, cut, and install carpeting on floors, resilient floor coverings, and hardwood floors, ensuring a seamless and professional finish.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, ensuring the highest standards of quality and workmanship.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials, and prepare floors for installations, ensuring efficient and effective project management.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the flooring industry.
  • Work Setting: Various locations, with a focus on residential and commercial installations.
