Job Title: Flooring Specialist

Celebrity Flooring Ltd. is seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team. As a Flooring Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of flooring, including hardwood, carpet, and resilient flooring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Install carpeting, hardwood, and resilient flooring
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Prepare floors for installations
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety equipment
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions:

This is a permanent position, working 30 to 60 hours per week. The work environment is on-site, with various locations and exposure to odors and dust.
