Job Title: Behaviour Analyst Consultant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Behaviour Analyst Consultant to join our team at Kinark Child and Family Services. As a Behaviour Analyst Consultant, you will be responsible for providing consultation-based services to support the delivery of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) services in a school-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consultation services to support the implementation of ABA programs in a school-based setting
  • Collaborate with educators and other professionals to develop and implement behaviour support plans
  • Conduct assessments and develop behaviour support plans to address challenging behaviours
  • Provide training and coaching to educators and other professionals on ABA principles and practices
  • Travel to various locations in the York area to provide consultation services

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Psychology or Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA)
  • Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) or Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) certification is considered an asset
  • Minimum three years experience in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis and ASD
  • Experience with school-based transitions and the delivery of consultation-based services will be considered a strong asset
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Valid Ontario driver's license, access to a reliable vehicle, and willingness to obtain automobile insurance with a minimum liability of one million dollars
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check (including a Vulnerable Sector Screening) and Pre-Employment Medical
  • Bilingual in English and French will be given special consideration
