Falcons Express Transportation Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Transportation Logistics Coordinator to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

About the Role

This key position plays a vital role in planning, organizing, and executing daily transportation operations. As a Transportation Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for arranging shipping documentation, tracking goods in transit, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Your expertise will also involve negotiating services and preferential rates, overseeing vehicle scheduling and dispatching, and monitoring revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement efficient transportation plans to meet business objectives.
  • Aarrange Shipping Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of shipping documents, including customs forms and commercial invoices.
  • Track Goods in Transit: Monitor the movement of goods, identify potential delays, and take corrective action to minimize disruptions.
  • Ensure Transport Compliance: Verify that all transportation activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Negotiate Services and Rates: Establish relationships with carriers and negotiate favorable rates and services.
  • Oversee Vehicle Scheduling: Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles to ensure optimal routes and reduced downtime.
  • Monitor Revenue: Track and analyze revenue generated from transportation activities, identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements

To succeed as a Transportation Logistics Coordinator, you will need:

  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: A minimum educational requirement.
  • 7 Months to Less Than 1 Year of Experience: Proven experience in a related field.
  • Flexibility: Adaptability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organized: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Reliability: Consistent and dependable performance.
  • Team Player: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is around $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on industry standards and location considerations. This figure may vary depending on individual qualifications and performance.
