Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst Assistant to join our team at Equiton Partners. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial functions.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and experience working with financial software. You will be responsible for performing various tasks, including calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, maintaining general ledgers and financial statements, and preparing tax returns.

Responsibilities
  • Perform financial analysis and prepare reports as required.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and general ledgers.
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll and other disbursements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Prepare and process accounts payable and receivable.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of financial software, including Excel and accounting packages.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer

Equiton Partners offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
