Job Title: Lead Frontend Web Developer

Hypercare is a leading healthcare technology company seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Frontend Web Developer to join our growing team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading the development of our web application, ensuring its performance, quality, and responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the frontend web development team, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features and fixes.
  2. Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable frontend code, adhering to industry best practices and standards.
  3. Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate frontend features with APIs and ensure seamless communication between systems.
  4. Work closely with product managers to meet specifications and deliver features that meet business requirements.
  5. Setup and iterate on CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and automated deployment of frontend code.
  6. Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements to existing systems and platforms.
  7. Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 5 years of full-time experience building product.
  2. Expertise across the web ecosystem with strong fundamental knowledge of the DOM, Web APIs, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  3. Good understanding of modern frontend design patterns and experience with common front-end development tools such as Vite, Webpack, NPM, etc.
  4. Familiarity with Restful APIs and proficient understanding of Git and branching strategies.
  5. Self-starter who can keep up-to-date with the latest updates and best practices in the frontend web development ecosystem.
  6. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and a team player with the ability to work in a supportive team environment as well as independently.

What We Offer:

  1. Base salary: $130,000 to $180,000 CAD annually.
  2. Healthcare and dental benefits.
  3. 15 days paid vacation per year, accrued annually.
