About the Role

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer Trainee to join our team at BBA Consultants. As a key member of our electrical engineering team, you will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of power systems for various projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and development of power systems for low- to high-voltage grids
  • Participate in the creation of electrical plans and diagrams
  • Contribute to the development of technical specifications, calculation notes, and estimates
  • Coordinate electrical engineering with other disciplines to ensure quality design
  • Participate in system studies, including power flow, harmonics, and transients
  • Assist in the commissioning of electrical equipment
  • Contribute to the modernization of existing power grid protection systems

Requirements

  • Undergraduate student in Electrical Engineering
  • Basic knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code
  • Ability to read plans and diagrams
  • Available to stay on site
