Tax Compliance Specialist

The Tax Compliance Advisor, North America is a key role within BRP's finance team, responsible for ensuring the company's Canadian legal entities comply with Canadian tax legislations. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to stay up-to-date with evolving tax laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the end-to-end tax compliance process for certain entities of the group
- Identify and document tax risks and propose mitigation strategies
- Organize, prepare, and explain tax accounting results for certain entities of the group
- Manage tax audits
- Analyze current processes and develop continuous improvement solutions
- Develop strong relationships with the Legal and Treasury departments and provide ongoing support to business units
- Recognized professional title in accounting
- Master's degree in taxation or equivalent (an asset)
- Excellent analytical and synthetic ability
- Knowledge of English (oral and written)
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in tax compliance
- Good management of priorities and deadlines
