North Island College is seeking a qualified individual to instruct natural resource micro-credentials in a blended learning environment. The successful candidate will teach in one or more of the following courses at the Campbell River campus, utilizing a combination of digital and in-person instruction.
Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

Job Description:
- Instructional Responsibilities: The instructional assignment involves planning and preparing learning materials for various instructional environments, using a variety of approaches to address different learning needs, teaching in assigned subject areas, and directing student learning in a positive and supportive environment.
- Teaching Faculty Roles: Faculty members are responsible for implementing the College's vision, goals, and objectives as they relate to teaching and learning, using organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and knowledge of subject matter, pedagogy, and curricular design.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education and Experience: A master's degree in math, education, forestry, environmental studies, or a related field, with a minimum of three years' industry experience and one year of teaching experience in a post-secondary setting.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; proficiency with instructional aids, computer applications, learning technologies, and digital tools; demonstrated pedagogical approaches to stimulate and empower learners; and experience with efficient use of advanced instructional technologies.
