A&W Restaurants Inc is seeking a talented Restaurant Team Member to join our team at our Colwood location. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver exceptional service to every guest.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of sanitation, health, and safety in the kitchen and food preparation areas. They will also be required to prepare and cook food according to instructions, operate large-volume cooking equipment, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas, paying attention specifically to the correct handling of raw proteins such as beef, pork, eggs, chicken, and fish.
  • Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils regularly.
  • Prepare foods following specific methods that usually require short preparation time.
  • Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills and deep-fat fryers.
  • Read food order monitors or receive verbal instructions and prepare and cook food according to instructions.
  • Clean, stock, and restock workstations as needed.
  • Wash, cut, and prepare ingredients for food preparation.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have excellent communication skills, a warm personality, and a passion for guest service. You should also be available to work 20-40 hours per week and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
