Physiotherapist Opportunity at Vancouver Coastal Health

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our Special Needs Program, working out of the West Vancouver Community Centre and supporting various other sites across VCH.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide physiotherapy services to children with physical, neurological, and developmental challenges, as well as those requiring episodic or palliative care.
  • Coordinate care plans for children with complex health needs, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, educational agencies, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
  • Current full registration with the College of Physical Therapists of BC (CPTBC).
  • Two years' recent related clinical experience, including care management, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Valid BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for business purposes.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Considerable knowledge of neurological, physical, and developmental problems, as well as understanding of available equipment and its use.
  • Broad knowledge of CPTBC standards of practice and guidelines for physiotherapy.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and provide interventions for children with complex health issues.
