Job Summary:

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for processing payroll, organizing and reviewing expense reports, and assisting in new hire and termination requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll accurately and efficiently
  • Organize and review expense reports to ensure compliance with company policies
  • Assist in new hire and termination requests, including updating employee records and processing necessary paperwork
  • Receive and process invoices, ensuring timely payment and accurate accounting
  • Post and reconcile entries in the general ledger, ensuring accurate financial reporting
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files and benefits information
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as needed to support the accounting and payroll functions

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in an Accounting or Payroll role
  • Proficiency in English and Japanese
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting
  • Precision and attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and compliance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees and management
  • Initiative and ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
  • Immediate availability to start
