We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Services Professional to join our Wealth Management team. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning and advice to mass affluent investing clients.
About the RoleThis position involves identifying client life and financial goals, providing comprehensive reviews, and building long-term relationships through financial planning expertise. You will conduct reporting and relevant analysis using results to draw conclusions, make recommendations, and continually assess the effectiveness of programs, policies, and practices.
You will contribute to team and department goals while strengthening customer service and dedication. Monitoring service, productivity, and assessing efficiency and implementing continuous improvements are also key responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable of best practices and procedures and stay ahead of emerging trends. You will acquire and apply expertise, provide mentorship, assistance, and direction to others.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans for clients
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments to ensure effective plan implementation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through exceptional customer service
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
- University degree and/or 3-5 years' experience in financial services
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC) required
- CIRO license preferred (required within first 90 days)
- Complete Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH) within first 90 days
- IQPF licensing required prior to start date (for Quebec only)
- Complete Wealth Management Essentials (WME) within first 30 months
- Achieve Certified Financial Planner designation within first 3 years
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
