We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Westland Insurance Group. Key Responsibilities- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of potential acquisition targets to identify strategic opportunities.
- Develop and manage advanced Excel financial models to evaluate acquisition opportunities.
- Organize and maintain virtual data rooms to ensure seamless document flow and accessibility.
- Contribute to creating investment presentations for senior stakeholders, helping to communicate key insights and strategies.
- Participate in buy-side transaction due diligence, reviewing target information to uncover potential risks and opportunities.
- Work with external legal and financial advisors on transactions, as needed, to ensure all aspects are covered.
- Take on additional ad hoc projects and tasks, contributing to the team's success.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Business, with a strong emphasis on finance or accounting.
- 2-3 years of direct experience in business finance or within an M&A transaction environment, such as M&A advisory, investment banking, corporate development, FP&A, or private equity.
- Advanced Excel skills and data analysis expertise.
- Proficient in PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
