Responsibilities:

* Assist in the installation of domestic, commercial, and industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
* Repair and maintain plumbing fixtures and systems
* Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems
* Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors
* Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings
* Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
* Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
* Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
* Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size

Requirements:

* Level two apprenticeship training or higher
* Valid driver's license
* Steel-toed safety boots
* Ability to work under pressure and handle physically demanding tasks
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
