Overview

KPMG Canada is seeking a highly skilled Forensic Technology Manager to join our team. As a key member of our document review practice, you will be responsible for leading and executing client engagements, overseeing a team of document reviewers tasked with reviewing and coding documents for legal proceedings and investigations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement document review protocols, ensuring alignment with project deadlines and client specifications.
  • Direct and supervise a team of document review professionals, providing clear instruction and oversight while fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Conduct second-level reviews and quality assurance assessments to ensure the accuracy and consistency of the review process.
  • Monitor and report on review progress, identifying and addressing issues to ensure timely delivery of high-quality services.
  • Utilize analytics to optimize the document review process and improve efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary client liaison, addressing client requirements, providing updates, and managing expectations to develop client relationships.
  • Prepare reports documenting all facets of the review process.
Requirements
  • Three-to-five years of relevant experience managing eDiscovery document review projects.
  • Experience using the Relativity platform.
  • Strong relationship management, analytical skills, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Candidate should have an interest in and an ability to rapidly learn new tools and technologies.
  • A detailed knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and workflows.
  • Demonstrated skills in project management and capable of managing multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities.
