Key Responsibilities

The Director, Investment Stewardship will contribute to the Plan's global corporate governance and stewardship activities and sustainable investing initiatives. As a member of the Corporate Governance & Stewardship Team, the Director will oversee the development, implementation and execution of the Plan's investment stewardship strategy, including engagement with companies on ESG issues and proxy voting.

Key Performance Indicators
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including companies, investors, and industry associations
  • Conduct research and analysis on ESG issues and their impact on investment decisions
  • Develop and implement effective engagement strategies with companies on ESG issues
  • Provide thought leadership on ESG issues and their impact on investment decisions
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investment stewardship, sustainable investing, and corporate governance. They will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders. The candidate will also have a strong analytical mindset, with the ability to conduct research and analysis on ESG issues and their impact on investment decisions.
