We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team at Residence de la Baie. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a high level of commitment and attention to detail. You will work closely with our nursing staff to deliver personalized care and services to our residents, focusing on maintaining their dignity and independence.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide support with mobility and transfers, ensuring resident safety and comfort
  • Administer medication and treatments as directed by our nursing staff
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks, promoting healthy eating habits
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols
  • Participate in recreational activities and outings, fostering social connections and engagement
Requirements
  • Completed Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Basic security clearance and vulnerable sector check
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
