Job Title: Physiotherapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Pitt Meadows physiotherapy clinic Ltd. As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists in providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist physiotherapists in administering evaluative tests and monitoring patient progress.
  • Administer tests using equipment, instruct patients on test procedures, and record results.
  • Assess patients' physical abilities and provide support in developing treatment plans.
  • Assist health care professionals in the assessment and treatment of patients.
  • Examine patients and provide feedback to physiotherapists.
  • Follow through on treatment programs with patients and provide ongoing support.
  • Supervise technical and support staff as needed.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
