About the Role

We estimate this role's salary to be around $120,000 per year in Toronto, Canada.

This is a key position within our team, responsible for contributing to the development and management of the GCTS Governance and Strategy program. You will assist in developing a high level of understanding of the Bank's policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.

You will work closely with various stakeholders and global teams to consolidate and maintain Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Your excellent analytical and investigative skills will enable you to identify risks and proactively escalate them to senior management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and enhance procedures and processes related to surveillance program governance
  • Assist in responding to regulatory and internal audit inquiries
  • Support the coordination of internal and external regulatory examinations and findings resolution monitoring/reporting
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to construct and maintain KRIs and KPIs
  • Organize and participate in risk and control meetings
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education and/or professional designations
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a financial institution or regulated securities dealer
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
