The Job

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse who shares our passion for creating better health for all Canadians. As a Mental Health Specialist, you will be part of our healthcare team, working collaboratively with colleagues to provide consultation, health teaching, and referral services to support improved client outcomes within our programs. You will also be responsible for providing virtual nursing assessments through the Collaborative Care model, assisting with program development, implementation, and delivery of Health Services, and supporting the Nursing team in expanding/evolving programs. Additionally, you will monitor compliance, progress, attendance, and engagement of clients engaged in treatment programs, review reports, and develop training materials and resources.

Responsibilities

- Provide consultation, health teaching, and referral services to support improved client outcomes within our programs.
- Provide virtual nursing assessments through the Collaborative Care model; these include nursing recommendations and interventions.
- Assist with the program development, implementation, and delivery of Health Services, including assessing and referring clients, providing health teaching, policy implementation, recruitment of practitioners, and client follow-up.
- Monitor compliance, progress, attendance, and engagement of clients engaged in treatment programs.
- Review all reports received and provide timely reporting to the referring source.
- Develop training materials, patient resources, and webinars.
