Hydraulic Service Technician II

As a Hydraulic Service Technician at SunSource, you will be responsible for providing technical services to our customers. This includes building, converting, and repairing hydraulic piston pumps and motors. If you have experience with repairs and assembly of hydraulic components, we encourage you to apply for this role.
Key Responsibilities- Component Repair and Assembly - Inspect parts and various components, determine if parts are re-workable, and list all parts needed for repair that need to be ordered.
- Unit Testing and Quality Control - Test repaired units using manufacturer test specifications and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality.
- Shop Maintenance and Organization - Maintain a clean shop by sweeping, mopping, organizing, and performing other general duties necessary to keep the shop clean.
- Team Collaboration and Training - Work efficiently with a team, set a positive example for new technicians, and guide them through repairs and training.
- Product Knowledge and Training - Stay current on our products as well as our competitors' products and technology.
- 3+ years experience with repairs and assembly of hydraulic components.
- Ability to assemble and test power units, repair, convert, and assemble all types of hydraulic components.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mobile and industrial hydraulic systems.
- Experience with components from Danfoss, Parker, and Amca is a plus.
Training and Development - Hydraulics 100 and 200, Troubleshooting (Outside Service Technician), AMCA Training, and other required training will be provided to ensure your success in this role.
