About the Role

The Assistant Retail Store Leader is a key member of our team at Rocky Mountain Soap Company, responsible for supporting the Store Leader in the day-to-day operations of our retail location. This role involves leading the customer and employee experience, ensuring seamless operations, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience
    • Consistently demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, aligned with our company's service standards and expectations.
    • Support the Store Leader in utilizing our training tools to train, develop, and coach the team to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
    • Address customer concerns and complaints promptly and with a focus on exceeding expectations.
  • Team Development
    • In the absence of the Store Leader, lead and motivate the store team, setting the example for demonstrating and living our company's core values.
    • Actively work to improve individual performance by pursuing opportunities for continuous learning and feedback.
    • Coach, guide, and connect with team members, providing consistent and thoughtful feedback to ensure they know their value and contribution to the team.
  • Inventory Management and Quality Control
    • Support the Store Leader in ensuring all inventory management processes are completed.
    • Report quality issues promptly and ensure all products on the sales floor meet our brand standards for quality and presentation.
  • Sustainability and Performance
    • Lead the store in all sustainability efforts and initiatives.
    • Actively lead and coach team members to drive revenue and performance metrics.
