Job Title: Faculty Coordinator

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Faculty Coordinator to join our team at Douglas College. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a critical role in the coordination and delivery of our Psychosocial Rehabilitation Graduate Diploma Program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the development and delivery of the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Graduate Diploma Program, including course planning, scheduling, and recruitment of students.
  • Collaborate with faculty members to deliver courses and practica, and provide support to students within the program.
  • Develop and coordinate educational and professional development programs for the mental health and substance use field.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure the delivery of PSR practica and the development of provincial standards for PSR.
  • Provide secretariat services to the Provincial PSR Advisory Committee.
Requirements:
  • PhD or PsyD degree in Psychology or a related mental health discipline.
  • Experience teaching at the undergraduate and post-degree level.
  • Extensive clinical experience in psychiatric hospital or community mental health settings.
  • Understanding of psychosocial rehabilitation interventions and approaches.
  • Demonstrated organizational, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills.
