Senior Hydrologist and Hydraulic Engineer

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including hydroelectric production, flood protection, transportation, wildlife development, and port development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Model and simulate the hydraulics of watercourses and hydraulic installations using specialized software (1D, 2D, and 3D)
  • Design hydraulic installations such as spillways, retention basins, canals, bridges, culverts, penstocks, etc.
  • Assess the impact of climate change on various infrastructures
  • Plan and carry out field surveys
  • Take charge of clients, projects, or batches
  • Write and check technical reports and contribute to the development of plans and specifications

Requirements:

  • University Degree in civil engineering or equivalent
  • Master's Degree in hydrology or hydraulics with academic training in modeling (an asset)
  • Experience in hydrogeomorphology (an asset)
  • More than ten (10) years of experience in the field of river and/or coastal hydraulics
  • Fluency in spoken and written French
  • Fluency in spoken and written English in a professional context to ensure communications on certain projects
