Job Summary

Brandt Developments Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Structural Technologist to join our team in Regina, SK. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise in the analysis, design, and detailing of structural systems for various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop structural systems for new buildings and renovations, including preparation of contract drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Perform contract administration duties, including attending meetings, reviewing submittals, and conducting site inspections.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of National Building Code of Canada (NBCC), Structural Codes, and industry practices and regulations.
  • Monitor project costs and schedules, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a consulting office, with a focus on design development, detailed design, design coordination, and contract administration.
  • Certificate in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology or Structural Engineering Technology.
  • Proficiency in Tekla, Staad Pro, AutoCAD, and Revit software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
