Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently
• Ensure adequate inventory levels to meet patient needs
• Provide friendly, positive, and proactive interactions with customers
• Counsel patients on new and additional medications
• Create awareness and educate customers through public relations
• Resolve patient needs and doctor requests in a timely and positive manner
• Review and control costs within the dispensary
• Provide ongoing training for pharmacy colleagues

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacist license
• Excellent customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism
• Strong leadership and performance management skills
• Proven ability to build business using community-based marketing strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving skills, including experience formulating and executing action plans
• Strong personal computing skills and knowledge of Healthwatch Pharmacy systems
