We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Resolute Forest Products Inc. in Northwestern Ontario. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects and maintenance activities at our sawmills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate assigned projects and maintenance activities, schedule manpower, and organize shutdowns and other major tasks.
  • Maintain liaison between operations, engineering, and maintenance departments.
  • Supervise job construction sites and analyze job progress in the field.
  • Verify the availability of project parts, materials, and special tools required for execution.
  • Estimate the cost of project labor and materials.
  • Research information for new project work and utilize feedback to improve job plans.
Requirements
  • Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineer degree.
  • 5+ years' experience in a related industrial manufacturing sector.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Autocad, MS Word, and Excel.
  • In-depth knowledge of MS Office, MS Project, and CMMS.
