Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Culinary Operations Leader to join our team at Taco Time. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled supervisor to lead and manage food service staff, overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  2. Supervise and coordinate the activities of culinary staff, providing guidance on food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  3. Train staff in job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols to maintain high-quality standards.
  4. Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  5. Hire and manage food service staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  6. Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring data-driven decision making.
  7. Prepare and submit reports on kitchen performance, highlighting areas for improvement and celebrating successes.

This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Requirements

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
  • Permanent employment status.
  • Proficiency in English as the primary language of communication.
  • A flexible schedule, with the ability to work 35 hours per week.

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of $45,000 per year, reflecting their value to our team and commitment to excellence.
