Landscape Labourer Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Landscape Labourer to join our team at JVR Landscape. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring our clients' properties look their best.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a neat and tidy appearance.
  • Cut grass and perform other lawn care tasks to ensure our clients' lawns are well-manicured.
  • Rake and collect refuse, and remove litter and garbage to keep our clients' properties clean.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials to enhance our clients' gardens and lawns.
  • Lay sod or seed to create lush, green spaces.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to add beauty and vibrancy to our clients' properties.
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure our team has the tools they need to do their job effectively.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to keep them healthy and thriving.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to ensure our team can complete tasks efficiently.
Work Environment:

As a Landscape Labourer, you will work outdoors in a variety of settings, including residential and commercial properties. You will be required to work in all weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and precipitation.

Requirements:
  • Experience in landscaping or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labour in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail to ensure high-quality work.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required.
