Job Title: Animation Artist

We are seeking a highly skilled Animation Artist to join our team at 2K Sports Lab. As an Animation Artist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality animations and illustrations for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate Time and Resources: Accurately estimate the time required to complete graphic designs and illustrations, ensuring timely delivery and meeting project deadlines.
  • Storyboard Development: Assist in developing storyboards for electronic productions, including multimedia, interactive, and digital products, as well as television advertising and productions.
  • Illustration and Animation: Develop and produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations, as well as 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer illustrations.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work in a multidisciplinary environment, determining the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication.
  • Client Focus: Develop graphic elements that meet clients' objectives, preparing sketches, layouts, and graphic elements for review and approval.
  • Usability Testing: Conduct usability testing to ensure that visual elements meet the required standards.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in animation, illustration, or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Unreal Engine, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
