Job Description:

As a Security Console Operator, you will be working in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for dispatching alarm and occurrence responses, coordinating scheduling changes, and documenting all information into comprehensive reports. You will also be required to escalate situations to stakeholders as needed and ensure that necessary procedures are followed in emergency situations such as bomb threats, fires, and break-ins.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispatching alarm and occurrence responses
  • Coordinating scheduling changes and book-offs
  • Documenting all information into comprehensive reports
  • Escalating situations to stakeholders as required
  • Ensuring necessary procedures are followed in emergency situations
  • Liaising with local emergency services and client personnel
  • Providing briefings to management, supervisors, and staff as required

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have experience in a control room with CCTV and Access Card Systems, be in possession of a valid Security License for the province of Ontario, and hold a valid (WSIB approved) First Aid Certificate Level C. Additionally, you must have above-average English communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to function independently and multi-task effectively in a dynamic environment.
