About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and physically fit individual to join our team as a Construction Helper at Acem Insulation Co. Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Site Support: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, while ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Earthwork: Level earth to fine grade specifications, and pave and rake asphalt as needed.
  • Debris Removal: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and machinery, and tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
  • Traffic Control: Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring a safe and efficient flow of traffic.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: The successful candidate must be physically fit and able to handle heavy loads, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Equipment Experience: Familiarity with equipment such as bushing guns, reciprocating saws, circular saws, and other construction machinery is essential.
  • Construction Specialization: Experience in construction specialization, including driveways, industrial, commercial, and institutional, residential, sidewalks, and curbs, is an asset.
  • Security and Safety: A criminal record check is required, and the candidate must be able to work in a secure and safe environment.
  • Transportation: Public transportation is available, and the candidate must be able to travel to and from job sites as required.
