Job Title: Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team and drive revenue growth in the southern Alberta market.

Job Summary:

The Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and maintaining relationships with existing clients. This role requires a proactive approach to prospecting, developing customized sales strategies, and closing deals to meet and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and target potential clients through various methods including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve territory goals and contribute to the overall success of the AB office.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to effectively position our products and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status using CRM software/tools.
  • Quoting projects: The company has a number of resources and teams available to assist with quoting projects.
  • Job management: For smaller projects (less than a week of work for a technician), it will be up to the salesperson to manage the scheduling of the project. For jobs over a week long, the project will be managed with the help of a project manager.
  • Invoicing: At the end of projects, the salesperson will be responsible for sending the final invoices for the work performed.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in outside sales or a related trade, preferably in electrical or IT infrastructure.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a customer-focused approach.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred, but not always required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office and Google docs, and the ability to use technology to enhance sales efforts.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as travel within the assigned territory is required.
